Gargoyles Remastered Gets a Release Date!

Disney has officially confirmed the release date for the HD remaster of the Sega Genesis game Gargoyles, which is based on the popular animated TV series from 1995. The remastered version is scheduled to launch on October 19 and will be available on various platforms, including PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and GOG.

What is Gargoyles Remastered?

In the original game, players take control of the TV series' main character, Goliath, as he explores New York in a quest to find the corrupting artifact known as the Eye of Odin. What sets this remaster apart is that players can choose between playing with the original 16-bit visuals or opt for a new hand-drawn art style that closely resembles the cartoon.

How Much Does Gargoyles Remastered Cost?

Digital pre-orders for the game are now open, with a price tag of $14.99 in the US and £12.49 in the UK. Additionally, Limited Run Games will offer physical copies of the game in three different editions. The standard edition will cost $34.99, the Classic Edition at $69.99 includes a VHS-style clamshell case, a VHS tape-shaped box, and a Steelbook cover.

For the ultimate fans, the Collector's Edition, priced at $174.99, comes with all the items from the Classic Edition along with a larger box that plays a voice line, a limited edition Goliath action figure, a poster, an enamel pin, and a certificate of authenticity.
