You must carefully select your party members, outfit them with the appropriate equipment, and choose their battle actions intelligently.

There are also other job classes to select from, adding an amazing amount of variety to the gameplay.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions' graphics are stunning and intricate, with a hand-drawn flair that brings the scene to life.

The music design is likewise excellent, with an epic soundtrack that wonderfully reflects the game's sense of adventure and drama.

It's easy to see why Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is the best tactical RPG game on the PSP.

Lumines is recognised for its captivating graphics and brilliant colour palette, which vary and evolve as the game progresses.

The blocks themselves are straightforward but functional, with a clean, minimalist style that is pleasing to the eye.

But it's the sound design that truly distinguishes Lumines.

The music, which ranges from electronic and techno to jazz and classical, is flawlessly intertwined with the action, resulting in a dynamic and engaging experience unlike any other.

Lumines is a captivating puzzle game that will keep you engaged for hours upon end.

It's a title worth checking out because of its basic but addicting gameplay, bright graphics and sound, and variety of settings and challenges.

3. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars

Despite being a PSP game, Chinatown Wars has excellent graphics and sound. The game has a lively, rich world to explore, ranging from the gritty underbelly of the city to the lavish penthouses of the wealthy elite.

The audio design is likewise excellent, with a fantastic soundtrack and realistic sound effects.

Chinatown Wars has a lot to appreciate, from the entertaining gameplay to the intricate storyline and immersive universe.

Some players, though, may find the controls a little clumsy at times, and the game's level might be aggravating for some.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is a must play game for fans of the franchise and open world games.

It's clear to see why it's deserving of the number three spot on our list of the best PSP games of all time.

2. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

We loved the replayability in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Giving you a diverse set of objectives to follow, along with some personalization's along the way.

You'll be entertained for hours on end with this one, we're sure of it.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker has a comprehensive gaming experience that combines stealth and action components to keep players engaged and on their toes.

The sound design is likewise excellent, with an excellent score and excellent voice acting that brings the characters to life.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is a fine choice for a stealth game on the PSP. It's action packed and full of excitement.

1. God of War: Chains of Olympus

It's easy to fall in love with God of War: Chains of Olympus.

The hack and slash gameplay are exciting, and that's a bit of an understatement. We were floored when we saw the graphics on this handheld device for the first time. Everything was so vibrant and colorful.

The bosses are fantastic as you make your way throughout the game.

God of War: Chains of Olympus' graphics and music are spectacular and immersive, with detailed character models and settings, as well as an epic symphonic soundtrack that wonderfully compliments the action.

You can't go wrong with the de facto title on the PSP.
