It had some seriously good ground-breaking gameplay, gorgeous visuals, and a sizable globe, was truly revolutionary at the time.

The impact of Super Mario Bros 3 was massive. Graphics like this were never seen before on the NES until this point.

The release of the movie “The Wizard” felt like a massive commercial for the game. Showcasing it on a massive screen (ironically enough on the big screen). Kids lined up for hours at your local theatre just to get a glimpse of the action.

Once it was released, the shelves weren’t able to be stocked fast enough with just how well it sold.

Today you’re able to find a copy almost everywhere because of it, but this is clearly the greatest NES game ever produced.
